In addition to our construction services, our subsidiary, Residential Energy Solutions, provides infrared energy audit and weatherization/energy efficiency services to our clients.
Matt Beaton, Founder and Co-Owner
Matt has an extensive background in both the construction and environmental industries. Matt has earned a Bachelor’s degree in Biotechnology from Worcester Polytechnic Institute and a Master’s Degree from Boston University in Energy and Environmental Analysis. After working as an environmental engineer and sustainability consultant, Matt returned to his passion – construction.
Matt is the first contractor in the country to have earned Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED), National Association of the Remodeling Industry (NARI) Certified Green Professional and RESNET Home Energy Rater certifications. Matt has written articles for a number of trade publications and provides training services to local construction companies seeking to expand into the sustainable construction field. Matt was also recently elected State Representative for Shrewsbury and Westborough.
Hannah Kane, Managing Partner and Co-Owner
Hannah’s background and expertise are in growing and managing businesses and client relationships. Hannah has worked on both the client and consulting side in developing and implementing business growth and marketing strategies, and in managing major, large-scale projects, for both public and privately held companies.
Major clients for Hannah have included MassDevelopment, where she served on the management team for the redevelopment of the former 4,400 acre Fort Devens Army Base, Lucent Technologies and Avaya, Pebble Beach Golf, Grubb & Ellis and St. Jude’s Hospital. Hannah manages the business growth and operations of Beaton Construction and works closely with clients and the Beaton Construction project managers to ensure that our engagements consistently exceed clients’ expectations.
Hannah has a Bachelors degree in Business Administration from Boston University and a passion for historical home restorations.
Steven Jordan, Project Manager
Steven Jordan established Habitech, a Construction Company, in 1989. After spending four years as a plant manager for Huntington Homes, a modular company in central MA, he saw the need to combine quality construction with strict attention to budget and resourcefulness. Steve has a commitment to building a close relationship with each client in order to ensure that budgeting, design, development and completion of the project are handled in a cost-efficient, timely and thorough manner. As a hands-on contractor, he is there to supervise and coordinate the construction process. Steve brings ability in the area of cost estimation, site evaluation and problem solving as well as other responsibilities of permitting, calculating amounts and purchasing materials and subcontractor bidding, he offers Computer Aided Design for new homes and remodeling. Steve has a broad knowledge of construction, building code and project management while bringing enthusiasm to each job site.
