Beaton Construction is owned by Matt Beaton and Hannah Kane. Matt Beaton founded the company after gaining years of experience in the construction, engineering and environmental industries. Matt is a graduate of Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI) in Worcester, MA and earned a Master’s Degree in Energy and Environmental Analysis from Boston University in Boston, MA.
After a career in corporate sustainability and environmental engineering in the Boston/Worcester MA areas, Matt used his training and previous years of residential construction experience to lay the groundwork for a company rooted in traditional building theory with an emphasis on incorporating the latest innovations in building science technology in Central Massachusetts.
Matt is an accredited professional in the U.S. Green Building Council's Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Program, the leading green building organization in the United States.
Hannah Kane joined Matt at Beaton Construction to oversee the growth of the company and to ensure that the complexity and magnitude of clients’ projects were managed in a manner that exceeded clients’ expectations. Hannah is a graduate of the Boston University School of Management and has spent 20 years in strategic consulting, marketing and managing large scale real estate development projects.
